We are working to construct a package of workshops & seminars ready for launch in the summer of 2020. Our workshops/seminars are designed to have maximum positive impact on mental wellbeing and ADVOCACY. Three areas we intend to explore with our format is universities, workplaces and local community organisations.

Stigma is Silly 2019

Cork Mental Health and Wellbeing Fest 2019

Da Silly Heads partnered up with Cork Life Centre to showcase at the 1st ever Cork Mental Health and Wellbeing Fest. Community & Voluntary Groups were invited to Cork City Hall and get involved by holding an event in the community to promote and support mental well being.

As part of the festival, we delivered an engaging and interactive workshop to students at the Cork Life Centre, based around storytelling, creative art expression and community.

Student Inc. Showcase 2019

Da Silly Heads were extremely happy to represent Social Enterprise start – ups at an annual showcase of the Rubicon’s Student Inc. programme. On the day, 30 student entrepreneurs from CIT, UCC and IT Tralee presented their prospective businesses, ranging from pre-operational stage to already established startups.

Our Heads Matter 2020

Our Heads matter consisted of a one day seminar held for students and staff of Cork Institute of Technology. Not only did audiences get to engage with high value speakers such as, Trisha Lewis (Trisha’s Transformations Vlog), Dan Sweeney (Entrepreneur and owner of PLAY CREATIVE – Digital marketing agency), Conor O’Keeffe (Ultra marathon runner & motivational speaker) and Joe O’Brien ( Psychologist and creator of The Head First Podcast), they also got to experience onsite massage, interaction with beautiful therapy dogs, and some soothing jazz saxophone across the morning.
